Water Baby!

Izzy loves the water! Always has, but now she even lays back in the tub and "floats"! She loves bubbles, tablets that turn water colors, body bath paints and bath crayons. Last summer, she had private swim lessons with "Her Boy, Ben" and afterward, she and I would swim around & practice. Last week, I took her swimming for the first time since September and she remembered everything she learned! She even asked if Ben was coming! I was shocked, happy and proud! We even stayed in the deep end the majority of the time (with a swim belt on, of course), but she was very independent of me! She wanted to jump in, had me push her under several times and she didn't swallow any water! I'm so glad she loves the water as much as her Mommy does! I may have a little swimmer on my hands! :)
Water Princess Izzy, complete with her tiara of bubbles! :)

Future Stylist Hard at Work!

Again, a late posting, I didn't realize I had all these pics on my phone! In early October, Izzy and I visited Felix at RCC's Cosmetology School for me a trim & color! Fortunately, the girls there & of course, Felix, were quite willing to entertain Izzy while my color was setting! Actually, it appears that Izzy was entertaining them...either way it was a great day and lots of fun! :)

Whoops! Even Later: Halloween Party!

Frankenstein straws, always a good thing when drinking orange punch! ;)
I made tombstone, black cat & skull pb&j sandwiches! :)
Preparing to say the blessing before they party! Isn't that precious?
Sitting patiently while Miss. Nicole lets them up one by one.
Very fun party with a couple of cute spooks! :D

Better LATE than NEVER!

Forgot I had these on my phone! Moms, enjoy the days of immobility and placing your children where you want them for pictures! Age three hit and for Izzy, independence & mind of her owness took over, especially when it comes to picture taking! We can't get the child to look & focus to save our lives! *Sigh* However, judging by her Pre-K class, that seems to be quite the trend among three year-olds! Here are a few from her Thanksgiving class party!
See! I told ya!
