K gave Izzy a Dora guitar for Easter because they are always coming up with some new crazy dance move or are making instruments out of sticks and whatnot ;). I'm sure I will be coming home to all kinds of funniness here real soon! If you would like to Izzy & K to perform at your next social gathering, I will be happy to pencil you in on their touring schedule! :)

Hippity Hoppity Happy Easter Day!
I found this title very fitting since Izzy can sing almost the entire song by herself! Saturday, we went to the Church for an Egg Hunt and then back home to wait for the Easter Bunny to come visit us!
There were two eggs with money in them and Izzy found both of them! That's my girl!

The Easter Bunny Hippity-Hopped right on with baskets full of Easter Joy for Izzy, Mar-Mar, K.K., Mommy & Daddy!See, I told ya...
Izzy got two Barbie dolls, that the Easter Bunny got for $3 each on ebay and from the Dollar Tree/Target Dollar Spot he got a Cinderella Ribbon Baton, a Big Coloring/Sticker book, Egg Sidewalk Chalk, Socks, Stickers, Snow White light-up ring, and Dora sand toys. Also, a bubble wand, M & M's egg, Max & Ruby Easter DVD, and Dora Bubble Bath. Mommy and Daddy got Izzy big girl Dora & Princess Panties, four books from the Dollar Tree, stretchy head bands, Disney Mickey & Friends Matchbox Cars (like the Nickelodeon ones we got her for Valentine's Day) and bunny ears from Target Dollar spot. She got tons more from the grandparents!

Easter Egg Dying
Today, Izzy and I dyed our Easter Eggs & decorated them with Disney Princess stickers! You can see our progression (somewhat) below, notice the cookie in hand...
Pre-K Easter Parade & Hunt
Wednesday, March 31st was Izzy's school Easter Parade & Egg Hunt. The parade is where all the kids where "bonnets" (Miss. Rene had bunny ears & gloves for the 2 yr olds) and walk from the Church, through town to the old Sunset Theater. There, they watched an Easter movie about the Littlest Angel and then go hunt eggs across the street in the Bicentennial Park. Well, when I got to the school, everyone was telling me to get inside...when I finally got through the sea of people, Izzy was snubbing...Miss. Rene said, we didn't know she was terrified of the Easter Bunny...well that makes two of us. Poor Izzy. Needless to say the entire parade was spent in mommy's arms keeping an eye out for the Easter Bunny...
