"Gone Fishin"

After Frissen's Baby Shower on Saturday, May 2nd, I came home bearing a gift of leftover Goldfish crackers in a gallon ziploc bag. Kristin & Kristi sent them to Izzy since they still had two bags left themselves. As soon as I walked in the door that night Izzy saw them and started begging for them. Of course, since I had been gone from home for a couple of days, I handed them over-she sat her little hiney down, right where she stood-in the middle of the kitchen, on the floor, in front of the oven and started eating. Clark and I could only laugh and take pictures. KBQ & KPL couldn't have sent a better gift :)

Summer Fun

So this summer we've been chillin' like villians in the backyard playing in our new pool Papaw & Meemaw got us, running in the Pablo sprinkler Frissen got us and playing with the water toys we bought last year. Just a few pics to share...

Playing House

Well, as KPL commented, I've been very busy around the house, especially since I haven't had my laptop to keep me occupied. One thing I did was buy Izzy a good, used playhouse. We've also fixed an outdoor play area in the fenced-in, ex-garden area of the yard. In the outdoor play area we have a ladybug sandbox (that I painted black spots & antennea on), the playhouse, a picnic table, a slide and a jungle gym thing. We are not completely finished with that area so I'm not going to share pics of that yet, but I will, as KPL ordered, share pics of Izzy in the playhouse (what she let me capture anyway) :)

Miss me?

Hallelujah! Our Y computer guru fixed my laptop and it's better than ever! I've been out of commission for almost 3 mo. to the day b/c laptop needed:

1. A new power cord b/c the other had a short in it and it would not charge the computer.
2. A new hard drive b/c it was running so slow.
3. A new CPU b/c even after the new hard drive was installed it was still running extremely slow.
4. A new motherboard b/c even after the new hard drive and CPU were installed it was still running slow and not quite, well...computing.
5. Then when he tried to install the new motherboard the back would not come off b/c the screws were on too tight and he to get his mechanic friend to take it off with his dremmel tool ( he said that had NEVER happened to him).

So like everything else in my life...my laptop was a hot mess and of course not easily fixable, but that's all behind us now, or at least the laptop part of it is. Yeah! There will be more to come, but it's been a long day and I'm off to bed soon. Here's a pic of Izzy (the first in 3 mo.), especially for Kristi, wearing the outfit she got her for her birthday.
